The Triple Yolk puzzle is where it all started for me. It is for the most part entirely 3d printed with a few metal elements. Produced in a limited run of 50, unfortunately it will not be made again. The goal is to find and extract the three brass yolks.

I designed this puzzle during my introduction to the puzzle world. It started life as a cryptex and was originally going to be called the Cryptegg, but that changed once I found the world of SD puzzles and decided I wanted to make my own.

Challenging to open, to say the least, but hopefully, the payoff getting to the end of this puzzle is equal to the work you needed to put in to get there. I wanted the solver to have a sense of wonder when you finally cracked it,(pun totally intended) for the satisfaction felt to be as great as I could make it. I spent a lot of time thinking about the tactile nature of the different elements in the puzzle, giving the right feedback, again so that the feeling along the way would be as enjoyable as possible.
